           is a charge q located at (a/2,b/2) with Phi(x,0)=Phi(0,y)=Phi(a,y)=0 and Phi(x,b)=V. Use the Green function obtained in class.

  1. Find the potential Phi(x,y) in the region determined by 0<=x<=a and 0<=y<=b when there is a uniform density of charge sigma in the region defined by 0<=x<=a and 0<=y<=b/2 with V=0 in all the boundaries. Use the Green function obtained in class.

  2. Solve problem 15.2.16 (part (a) only) (you may use the result of 15.1.12 to evaluate some integrals):
